Le Grand Restaurant by Jean-François Piège
Jean-François Piège’s Le Grand is testament to the avant-garde nature of his cooking: an open kitchen of black-and-white marble looks out to a tessellated ceiling of black-and-white glass and a printed monochrome carpet, holding diners in a crystalline cavern as magical as the menu to come. Piège runs his restaurants with his wife Elodie and opened Le Grand in 2015. Here he blends precise French cooking with his innovative and sometimes cheeky flair. Watch out for the classic ile flottante (a floating island dessert of meringue on crème anglaise), which is served inside out.
