Once within local pub Kauz & Kiebitz, pig tracks lead to a doorbell, giving access to Truffle Pig. Open just four nights a week, this speakeasy has all the luxuriousness associated with truffle – dark wood, velvet and gold design elements – but doesn’t take itself too seriously either, with an easygoing, welcoming atmosphere. There’s a sense of fun to the cocktail list too, with nothing too complicated, but no shortage of inventiveness. Take the Dolce & Banana, for example, which includes banana-infused rum, sour orange juice and mascarpone, topped with an amaretto and banana foam; or the White Ferrari, with rum, lime juice, green apple cordial and amaretto.
