The Chug Club

The Chug Club is a shrine to agave, complete with stained glass windows and a distinctly churchlike back bar. A proper good time joint, there are tables outside for balmy evenings but if you'd rather stay indoors then you can grab a green velvet bar stool under the flickering light of an oversized disco ball. The drinks offering is dynamic and varied, with the house specialising in mini-cocktails – known here as chugs, which bring a new layer of fun to responsible drinking. Full-size drinks are also available, with original creations including the Roundhouse Kick, a bold mix of mezcal, strawberry and cardamom cordial, lime and absinthe.
