The interior of The 7 Jokers feels a little bit like a fever dream – everywhere you look there's something eccentric and unexpected. Bamboo ceiling? Sure. A masked mannequin sitting half-way up a wall? Obviously. It's also a drinks industry favourite, as per the eternal law of bartending (the quirkiest bar with the latest licence is always an after-shift hot spot) which means that the cocktail list is worth exploring. Try the He was Worthy, which mixes tsipouro (a traditional Greek grape-based spirit) with pineapple, red chilli, bitters and lemonade, but once the crowd is heaving and the technicoloured fairy lights are twinkling, you'll more than likely find yourself more in the mood for a beer and a shot.
