Slippbarinn opened within the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavík Marina way back in 2012 and has been serving creative cocktails ever since. The interior is pretty stripped-back, dominated by a packed backbar and a blackboard with the spirits listed on technicolour ink, topped off with jars of hand-labelled house infusions, which hint at the cocktails on offer. The current menu is inspired by the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, with drinks including the Cheshire Cat, which mixes white rum with herbal liqueur, strawberry, rhubarb cordial and lime. There are also two daily happy hours, one from 3-6pm, and the second from 10-11.30pm, where you can enjoy a wide choice of drinks for around half their usual price.
