Langosteria

Milan, Italy

Milan's Langosteria is a whole lot of fun, a highly-decorated dining room where there's always a buzzy atmosphere helped along by a fantastic cocktail list. When it comes to the food though, the clue is in the name: this place is all about seafood. With a choice between dining á la carta or from a six-course tasting menu, dishes include tuna and red prawn tartare with Datterino tomato coulis plus king crab cooked on the robata grill and finished with a lemon and chilli sauce, there's also an impressive oyster and raw bar to peruse. Overseen by chefs Domenico Magistri and Sorin Tanasie, Langosteria also has a café, bistro and the newest addition is a Cucina, which works as a dedicated chef's table, plus sister restaurants in Paris inside LVMH's Cheval Blanc hotel – how chic.
