Combining the artforms of tea and cocktails, Yorozu has been described as a flavour experience unlike any other across the world. It is here, in this intimately modern salon that guests are introduced to pairings of traditional sweets, savoury dishes, tea and alcohol. The tea preparation is a performance that involves serving the liquid at three low temperatures from a kettle designed by owner Suguru Tokubuchi. When it’s not in use, this stunning design takes centre stage in the otherwise pared-back space. Cocktails are gentle and hero the tea’s flavour, playing with tannins as well as the softer expressions.
