Ginza Kojyu

Tokyo, Japan

The fourth floor of an unassuming Japanese office block is home to Ginza Kojyu where chef Toro Okuda serves a multi-course kaiseki-style menu featuring fresh seasonal ingredients (think prawn dumplings with angel hair scallions). The eight-seater dining room – which has a further three private rooms – is divided by paper screens and blanketed with traditional Japanese tatami. Reservations are not taken overseas though, so you’ll need a little help from a hotel concierge or a friendly local to get you in.
