When a catastrophic explosion leveled parts of Beirut, including the bar Electric Bing Sutt, in August of 2020, the intrepid bar team (Jad Ballout, Xin Lin and Andre Gerges) rallied to rebuild. From the ashes of the tragedy, they built Dead End Paradise in a former taqueria at the end of an alleyway in the Gemmayze neighborhood as a "hedonistic tiki dive that may not exist tomorrow," with the motto "just fun, no bullshit". The vibe is nothing short of electric, with an indoor-outdoor flow, brightly colored furniture and neon light fixtures that help carry the bar team's magnetic energy through service every night. Drinks-wise, expect tropical-leaning concoctions with bold flavour combinations to complement the Asian-meets-Middle-Eastern bar snacks. The more innovative and outside-the-box drinks can be found in the Dead End section of the menu, while tiki classics with twists land on the Paradise section.
