Relatively new kid on the block in Mexico City, Casa Prunes is a restaurant and cocktail bar set in a gorgeous Art Nouveau style mansion. Seasonality is a priority here, as is zero waste, both for the food and drinks. Cocktails are presented in a central terrace featuring an impressive bar that’s something out of The Great Gatsby. The drinks themselves are playful takes on classics, such as the Non-A Negroni made with vodka distilled with morita chile, Mexican whiskey Abasolo, Cynar and Campari. There’s also a selection of wines fermented in-house, and a noteworthy collection of Mexican spirits.
