A personalised, market-led daily tasting menu awaits at Lorea, where Oswaldo Oliva, who spent time at renowned Spanish restaurant Mugaritz, creates Mexican haute cuisine by drawing on produce from all corners of his home country. The discreet entrance of the Roma Norte townhouse opens out to a contemporary dining room; stone hues and wood completing the look. A tasting menu made up of about 15 courses or so awaits guests, with the guiding principles of “austerity, simplicity and beauty”. The artful dishes, designed to tell a story, are plated by Oliva on handcrafted dishware.
