Pop-up turned bricks-and-mortar restaurant, Bak opened in 2013 on the third floor of a refurbished warehouse in the old lumber port of Houthaven. Inside, you'll find vaulted ceilings, wooden seating and colour-drenched textural artwork on the walls by local artist Claudy Jongstra Ethical sourcing is key, with chefs sending out perfectly composed plates enlivened with colourful foams and garnishes, best enjoyed alongside some of the wine list's quirky natural options. Choose between four and six-course menus, plus one that changes daily, offering inventive creations such as guinea fowl with black walnuts and sea bass with cockles and blood orange.
