The Corner House is an unusual and thoughtful project – a community-focused mall designed to reconnect people with nature through outdoor spaces in a city more commonly defined by air-conditioned interiors. Within it is Raion, which shifts from a laid-back daytime café into a cocktail bar after dark, when the mood changes without losing that same welcoming, community feel. Regular events, including a "tipsy book club", have helped build a loyal following. The cocktails are not to be sniffed at: playful, inspired versions of classics that occasionally edge into molecular territory, paired with bar snacks designed to keep people coming back for more.
