Basel’s Cheval Blanc serves up a feast for the senses, both in its nuanced cuisine and its Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois address. Floral display-studded interiors feature parquet floors, high ceilings and chandeliers while outside the Rhine sparkles. Led by Bavarian chef Peter Knogl, who arrived in 2007, and had bagged three Michelin stars within a decade. Menus showcase French technique enriched with Mediterranean and Asian influence.
