- No.28 The World's 50 Best Vineyards 2025
Gusbourne is an English wine success story. Founded in 2004, its first sparkling wines – made with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay from the chalk soils of Kent and West Sussex – were released in 2010. Respect for the environment and a meticulous eye for detail have earned the winery numerous plaudits. Tour the vineyards or the estate, discover English wine through specially themed lunches, or take a bottle and a hamper out into the vines for a picnic. The winery also hosts special events throughout the year, such as a rosé bar or pizza‑and‑BBQ weekends paired with English fizz.
