Best known for the ‘press for champagne’ buttons that adorn every table, Bob Bob Ricard has become something of a London institution since it opened in 2008. Everything about it screams flamboyance, with blue-and-gold furnishings inspired by the Orient Express and a similarly lavish menu of English and Russian cuisine. A meal might start with vodka, caviar or oysters and continue through steak tartare, chicken Kiev and boozy chocolate truffles. And, of course, bubbles are available at the push of a button, so it’s a perfect place for celebrations. Younger sibling Bob Bob Cité opened at the Leadenhall Building in the City in 2019.
