While viceversa means 'the other way around,' this bar gets food and drink exactly right thanks to its bold design-led vision. Founder and Italian expat Valentino Longo uses the bar-restaurant to fuse Italian aperitivo culture with Miami's appetite for high-energy nights. Built on contrasts, the space pairs an illuminated crescent-shaped backbar that evokes the features of Italian Futurism with velvet green, marble, and cherrywood accents that nod to the warmth and familiarity of Longo's Roman upbringing. Inviting a mood for reflection, the Puttanesca Martini imbues the dirty martini with an extra savoury edge using olive oil, caper leaf and Castelvetrano brine. For a smoky digestif, try the Forza! which blends bourbon, bergamot and blackcurrant into something like a Manhattan by way of the Everglades. Riffs on the negroni, vermouths, sherries and amari celebrate the enduring appeal of Italian classics.
