Brooks Wine
Willamette Valley, US
- No.35 The World's 50 Best Vineyards 2025
Biodynamic trailblazer Jimi Brooks founded his eponymous winery, Brooks Wine, in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA in Oregon's Willamette Valley in 1998 with a mission to let nature do the talking. Gaining biodynamic certification in 2002, Brooks died tragically young just two years later, leaving the estate in the capable hands of his sister, Janie Brooks Heuck, and son Pascal. Making a hero of terroir-driven pinot noir and riesling, the B Corp and Demeter-certified estate is celebrated for its commitment to sustainability and support of environmental causes. Both family and dog-friendly, the winery offers various wine tasting options and a packed rota of events throughout the year, from concerts to cooking classes. At its restaurant monthly tasting menus highlight ingredients from the estate's kitchen garden, while its Artisans in Residence programme shines a light on local heroes who share Brooks' sustainability ethos. Don't miss their legendary Wood-Fired Fridays during the summer.
