Teible

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Set on the ground floor of Dubai’s Jameel Art Centre – the city’s only public modern Middle Eastern art museum – Teible distinguishes itself not only through its artistic archive but through culinary creativity. Japanese chef and Teible culinary director Ito Masanori worked in luxury hotels honing his expertise in French and Japanese cuisine before joining Teible, where his commitment to farm-to-table dining has made it the only restaurant in Dubai to have earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand and Michelin Green Star. The restaurant champions local produce, highlighting its partner farms each month in a bid to emphasise the importance of sustainable, organic farming in the Middle East. Menus change with the seasons although locally sourced fish and steaks are standout, in particular a dish called Green Soil, which is made with local octopus, locally grown avocado, tomatoes and herbs picked from Teible’s vegetable garden.
