Friday 3rd July will see the launch of our ‘Bid for Recovery’ Auction, an opportunity to bid for once-in-a-lifetime gastronomic experiences donated by the world’s best restaurants and bars, as well as 50 Best’s partner brands. The largest global event of its kind, the ‘Bid for Recovery’ Auction will run from 3-12 July on, with more than 150 incredible lots available, from the ultimate gastronomic holiday to an unforgettable day in the company of your favourite chef or the rare bottle of spirit you never thought you’d get your hands on.

Start browsing today this extraordinary selection of once-in-a-lifetime experiences and rare items in the Digital Auction Catalogue as you get excited about making your bids from 3 July. The catalogue can be browsed online here, divided primarily by region.

Participating in the virtual auction is a powerful way to help save independent restaurants and bars around the world. We count on your support for this initiative, by preparing to bid, spreading the word with your friends and colleagues, or making a donation of any amount – everyone can help! All donations made on will receive a copy of 50 Best’s new e-cookbook Home Comforts: simple lockdown recipes from the world’s best chefs and bartenders.

The funds raised will be given back to hospitality businesses, who will be able to apply for a grant later this month. 50 Best is also proud to back non-profit organisations around the world supporting restaurants and bars while also feeding the hungry at this difficult time.
