Claude Troisgros of Olympe in Rio de Janeiro is the latest chef in Latin America to be crowned with the coveted Diners Club Lifetime Achievement Award.

While the Troisgros name has long been synonymous with outstanding and innovative cuisine in his native France, it is credit to the chef that the family moniker is now just as well-respected in Brazil and beyond.

Chef Troisgros took us to his local market in Rio to show us the produce that inspired the unique style of cooking he calls Franco-Brazilian cuisine.
