North America's 50 Best Restaurants 2025 will be revealed at Wynn Las Vegas on 25 September
The on-the-ground programme, located within official host destination partner Wynn Las Vegas, will include a series of key events which have become the foundation of 50 Best Restaurants celebrations. These include thought-leadership forum #50BestTalks, exploring the most pertinent topics affecting the food world today, the Chefs’ Feast showcasing the diverse cuisines on offer in the city, and the red-carpet awards reception and on-stage ceremony.
The unveiling of the ranking will be preceded by a number of special announcements in the weeks beforehand, including the Champions of Change Award, Art of Hospitality Award and Resy One To Watch Award. Further special awards will also be revealed on the evening itself, including North America’s Best Pastry Chef Award and North America’s Best Sommelier Award.
All restaurants located with the US, Canada and the Caribbean (excluding Cuba and Dominican Republic) are eligible to be voted for by the North America’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy – a body comprising 300 independent restaurant experts, made up of a balanced mix of chefs, restaurateurs, food and beverage journalists, educators and well-travelled gourmets. Restaurants can serve any cuisine in any style; the list is a straightforward reflection of the best dining experiences the Academy members have experienced.
The voters, who vote individually and confidentially and must remain anonymous, are recruited by a group of industry-leading Academy Chairs across eight sub-regions within North America. Restaurants in Mexico, Cuba and the Dominican Republic are not eligible because these countries are already part of the well-established Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants region.
