This excellent hostelry, officially known as The Curator Coffee and Cocktails, is dedicated to two of the very finest things in life: caffeinated beverages and mixed drinks. Since its 2016 opening in Legaspi Village, Makati, it has been ranked in the Asia's 50 Best Bars list eight times and once in the extended 51-100 list, this year winning the accolade as The Best Bar in the Philippines for a fourth time.

The coffee is taken in the space up front, a bright-and-breezy area with an excellent range of roasts from across the Asian region. The suitably impressive cocktails are served in an intimate back room. The understated bar plays host to a regular schedule of international bartender takeovers and majors in Filipino spirits. The beautifully designed menu centres around notable figures, with cocktails designed for each accompanied by a fun description and flavour map. The First Refrain, inspired by modern Broadway megastar Lin-Manuel Miranda, delivers a symphonic combination of whiskey, chai-spiced red vermouth and bitters.
