Cocktails couldn't be taken more seriously at Doppelgänger in Buenos Aires, where classics – both well-known and long-forgotten – are celebrated, and every detail is taken care of, from chilled bohemian crystal glassware to carefully selected ice. There are more than 100 cocktails to choose from here, ranging from various whisky combos to a selection of refreshing drinks including a Tom Collins, Horse's Neck and a Ramos Gin Fizz. There's a food menu to accompany all those drinks as well but don't come expecting to order a beer or glass of local malbec instead: they don't serve anything here apart from what they mix themselves. As they proclaim on their Insta profile, above the regular philosopher quotes that they pepper on their feed: "Doppel is a bar, this is hardcore.".
