Tours of Bodega Lagarde offer an intimate insight into life behind one of Argentina’s oldest wineries, dating back to 1897. Dine amongst them on the entrancing tree-covered terrace of Fogón restaurant, where the menu changes daily to highlight its seasonal and locally sourced produce (much from the estate’s own gardens) for a true induction into traditional Mendoza culture with a bit of modern flair, alongside wines paired by the winemaker himself. The limited edition single vineyard ‘Guarda’ Malbecs are the jewels in the crown, and can be incorporated into personalized tastings following tours of the broader estate.
