Double Deuce Lounge

Sydney, Australia

Every bar is unique, but Double Deuce Lounge takes this to new heights, with a name taken from a dive bar in the 1989 cult classic Patrick Swayze movie Road House and an aesthetic lifted from kitschy 70s top-shelf magazines. The 10-strong cocktail list draws on these influences, with concoctions named The Bambi Woods (named for the star of Debbie Does Dallas), which blends Los Altos Tequila, mezcal, passion fruit, vanilla, lime and a shot of Love Juice, plus the Full Bush (we're not explaining this one), which shakes American whiskey with yuzu, grapefruit, rooibos and maple, alongside elevated versions of retro classics like the Woo Woo and the White Russian.
