Le Pristine

Antwerp, Belgium

Blending the Dutch-Italian heritage of chef-owner Sergio Herman, Le Pristine combines Italian technique with ingredients from northern Belgium and the southern Netherlands. Herman was the head chef of the famed Oud Sluis in his native Zeeland, though this Antwerp outpost of the chef’s current empire finds him in slightly more casual mode, while stylish interiors by Danish design outfit Space Copenhagen take inspiration from the rich colours of the Flemish old masters. In fine weather there is courtyard dining, while the adjoining café offers pizza, pastas and cocktails, as well as the natural wines from the restaurant’s list.
