Celebrity chef Felipe Bronze combines various philosophies at Oro: cooking with fire, a hands-on experience and local ingredients. The restaurant followed up a One to Watch Award in 2017 with a place on Latin America’s 50 Best in 2018. Bronze prepares two tasting menus at the intimate space, with ‘Creativity’ changing daily and the shorter ‘Affectivity’ focusing on signature dishes. The snacks, such as oyster with caipirinha, and yucca and rump steak tartare, are designed to be eaten with your hands while cutlery is used for bigger plates of roasted tomato and persimmon moqueca (fish stew). Bag a spot at the communal kitchen bar if possible.
