Belon is a neo-Parisian bistro showcasing technique-driven French dishes by Daniel Calvert (who cut his teeth at Per Se and Epicure). Blue leather booths and globe lights, coupled with great service and drinks, make this a favourite of locals and tourists alike. Calvert’s pigeon pithivier is a must, as is his mille-feuille dessert. Afterwards, enjoy a nightcap at hidden bar, Upstairs at Belon. After its Asia’s 50 Best debut in 2018, Belon jumped 25 places to 15th in 2019 to become the highest climber of the year. It has also bagged a Michelin star, making the 31-year-old the youngest Hong Kong chef to attain this distinction.
