Here, Chef Hrvoje Kroflin reinvents long-forgotten dishes for modern diners with the likes of crab and shrimp salad, cold-smoked beef tartare, wild hake rillettes, dumplings stuffed with aged cheese and lamb back cooked on open-fire with fermented black rice, while there's a five- or eight-course tasting menu with the option of wine pairings. Despite being fine-dining, the food is surprisingly hearty and comforting, matched by a suitably cosy interior: think warm wood with a sloped ceiling and rounded edges, semi-open glassed kitchen, and outdoor space for the sunny months.
