The kitchen is rooted in haute cuisine, where an army of chefs take the finest Danish ingredients of the season and execute them fastidiously. The options on the all-day menu mean you can as easily swing by for a light lunch – a gourmet slant on smørrebrød – or set up residence for the entire evening. If the latter, try The Whale, a signature dish of turbot and black lobster in a crisp, buttery puff pastry, ‘swimming’ in spinach and lobster bisque. The trio of private dining rooms are ideal for larger groups or celebrations and there’s a set menu for such occasions, which cherry-picks all the crowd-pleasers (and yes, that includes The Whale).
