This well-established member of the Lima bar and restaurant scene has seen visitors returning through its distinctive revolving doors for over two decades with its consistently excellent food and drinks. There are touches of Incan design throughout this grown-up, elegant venue, but the best spot – of course – is the bar, which has some nautical touches to it, giving the impression of being on a boat. The drink to have is the Peruvian classic, El Capitán, a mix of pisco and vermouth, served in two parts, with the second kept chilled on ice. Food-wise, the spanish omelette is said to be the best in town.
