Singapore’s Little India is a vibrant and colourful neighbourhood that’s rich with culture. The Elephant Room in neighbouring Chinatown is dedicated to celebrating the area’s people and history, not to mention its distinctive palette of flavours. To begin with, it sources all of its ingredients from in and around the local Tekka Market. These are used to create a vibrant collection of cocktail ingredients – distillates, ferments, jellies and more. These are displayed around a room that feels just like stepping into Little India, decked out in wood, gold and vermillion. Alongside these creations are the bar’s spirits selection, entirely sourced from India. The resulting cocktails are distinctive, inventive and entirely unique.
