Boasting jaw-dropping views over the Beau Constantia boutique wine farm, Chef’s Warehouse takes the refined tapas-style menu that made its name in the original central Cape Town venue and, literally and figuratively, elevates it. Housed in a modern glass cube with an alfresco terrace, the dining room is the scene for a set menu of nine tapas plates for two by native chef Ivor Jones of Cape Town big hitters La Colombe and The Test Kitchen. From Saldanha Bay oysters laced with chilli threads to springbok with blood orange, Jones appears capable of magic. Accompanying wines are, of course, exemplary.
