With roots that date back to Taiwan more than 60 years ago, and more than 170 restaurants across Asia, the UK and the UAE, Din Tai Fung can also be found at the Central Embassy in Bangkok. It specialises in xiao long baos – steamed pork dumplings that are individually rolled, filled and folded (18 times, to be precise) – as well as steamed chicken soup, a warming broth made from free-range chicken that’s slow-simmered in aromatics for maximum flavour.
