Following an extensive refurbishment, the Dusit Thani Bangkok reopened in 2024, confidently straddling past and present in both its design and service. First built in 1970 as one of Thailand's first luxury hotels, it retains echoes of its heritage in the lobby, where two of the property's original, ornately painted stone pillars stand as a focal point within the mural-lined space. The lobby opens into a five storey atrium of suites – all expansive bay windows, soaking tubs, and a sense of calm engineered by Hong-Kong-based designer André Fu.
