Restaurant Story

London, UK

Chef Tom Sellers established Restaurant Story in 2013 as a way to relate his personal journey – and, more broadly, the twisting, turning tale of modern British cuisine – through an exquisite seasonal tasting experience. His five-course lunch and eight-course lunch and dinner menus showcase the very best British produce in an array of inventive, narrative-driven dishes; expect playful creations such as snail porridge, warm sourdough served with a candle made from beef dripping (which slowly melts into a rich dipping sauce), platinum caviar with golden beetroot, and a whimsical spin on the classic Oreo cookie. The light-filled contemporary dining room, whose ceiling is strewn with hundreds of notepaper-like silk birds, is located just moments from the River Thames and historic Tower Bridge in Bermondsey, offering a serene, whimsical setting for each memorable meal.
