Owners Zach Patterson and Austin Melrose call Melrose Umbrella Co. a post-Prohibition bar, its logo an homage to when drinking establishments of the era would signal the return of alcoholic beverages with the symbol of an umbrella with raindrops. A staple of the Melrose shopping district, the relaxed hangout space is one of the city's most beautiful, layered with a mélange of vintage design elements that create a part-saloon part-apothecary vibe, which might be described as 'disheveled chic'.For the cocktails, the menu features a modest and eclectic mix of creative inventions, including alcohol-free and blender drink options.
