Baccarat Hotel

New York, US

The renowned French luxury house, Baccarat, owns the New York City hotel bearing their name and the Midtown Manhattan palace delivers on the crystal king’s values: indulgent luxury and lots of sparkle. Design shop Gilles and Boissier created a French deco motif worthy of the hotel’s location across the street from the Museum of Modern Art. Modeled after a Parisien boutique, the NYC grounds display hundreds of Baccarat originals including seventeen elaborate crystal chandeliers. The French lifestyle continues in the 114 lavish guest quarters. The rooms-with-a-view are garnished with flourishes such as Somma 1867 sheets, Laduree snacks, Baccarat cashmere throws and Francis Kurkdijan amenities. The vibrant, red minibars (furnished with Baccarat tumblers, of course) are stocked for any occasion. The hotel’s main bar is a stunning mix of checkerboard stone floors, vaulted ceilings and Chanel inspired chairs. The 60 ft long bar also offers an elite craft cocktail program and wine list round out the experience. Additionally, Culinary Director Gabriel Kreuther supervises an outdoor oasis, Le Jardin, and the Grand Salon, an upscale bistro with a hint of Italian flair. The subterranean spacehouses the only US location of wellness darling Spa de la Mer. Adjacent, the Baccarat touts one of the city’s most stylish pools.
