Join speakers Mauro Colagreco (Mirazur, The World’s Best Restaurants 2019), Anissa Helou (winner of the Foodics Icon Award 2023), Akmal Anuar (chef-restaurateur, White Rice Co), and Qais Malhas and Maha Dahmash (chef and founder respectively, Shams El Balad) at this thought-leadership event held at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, which will be replete with interactive moments, food tastings and exclusive interviews. LIVESTREAM: MENA’S 50 BEST RESTAURANTS 2023 AWARDS CEREMONY

Monday, 30th January – 20:20 Abu Dhabi (16:20 London)

The official livestream of the MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023’s gala will be available on both YouTube and Facebook, with live highlights from the red carpet and reception available from 18:30 local time on @TheWorlds50Best Instagram. Tune in to see the unveiling of the latest ranking as it happens, including the countdown from No.50 to No.1, the announcement of several special awards and inspirational videos from chefs in the region – and have your notepad ready, because these will be the hottest spots to hit up in 2023. Will super-casual, no-reservations local restaurant 3 Fils in Dubai keep the top spot this year, or will there be a new No.1?

The ranking is voted by a body formed of 250 restaurant experts in the region, known as the Academy. Each member casts seven votes for those that are – in their expert opinion – the best dining experiences in the MENA region. The list is the result of a simple computation of their votes. Read more about the voting process here.

Special awards to be announced on the night include Middle East & North Africa’s Best Pastry Chef, sponsored by Valrhona; the Highest New Entry Award, sponsored by Aspire Lifestyles; the Sustainable Restaurant Award, sponsored by Arla Pro; and the Estrella Damm N.A. Chefs' Choice Award, among others.
