Trescha
Buenos Aires, Argentina
- No.36 Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants 2025
Trescha is one of Buenos Aires' most exclusive destinations, with only 10 seats and one menu offering 14 courses (or 'moments' as it prefers to call them) alongside a picture perfect cocktail terrace for an after-dinner drink or two. Chef Patron Tomás Treschanski is a young chef with no shortage of accolades already attributed to his name. He'd completed stints at Stockholm's Frantzén and Madrid's Barrafina before arriving in the Argentinian capital to open his namesake restaurant in a remodelled townhouse. ]In working with over 350 producers in the country, the test kitchen pushes the envelope on highlighting local produce using a wide array of global techniques. Dishes change often and offer compelling combinations of ingredients and influences, such as of duck with Ecuadorian cocoa, culurgione (a type of Sardinian filled pasta) stuffed with candied duck leg and leek, Indian mint chutney and carrot sriracha. Don't skip the drinks pairing either, which flits between wines, champagnes and non-alcoholic cocktails.
