In-keeping with parent group Barroco's MO (sister venues include Barroco, Foiegwa, Milky Way, Super Loco), Atwater Cocktail Club pulls no punches with the decor: a mirrored ceiling and patent silver leather banquettes adding an air of serious kitsch to the space, but drinks are all elegance. The Fall Effect is a refreshing blend of blanco tequila, mezcal, aquavit, lime, celery and coriander whilst the 40 Thieves, made with rye whisky, lemon, pineapple, tahini and sesam oil, lingers beautifully in the mouth. If you're hungry, the choice of bar bites is impressive, with everything from pasta plates to escargots.
