Part Chinese restaurant, part museum, Duddell’s is a cultural centre for lovers of the arts. Split over two floors by a dramatic staircase, the venue houses screenings, talks and exhibitions in addition to its highly acclaimed restaurant, which came under the stewardship of chef Li Man-Lung in late 2019. Level three is the setting for dim sum or à la carte Cantonese cuisine, or a tasting menu with optional abalone upgrades. The ten-course degustation takes in appetisers such as crispy suckling pig and showstoppers like pan-fried Miyazaki wagyu beef. Chinese, signature or ‘adventurous’ wine pairings are available.
