Hong Kong's Island Shangri-La houses this classic, upmarket hotel bar, with its subtle nautical feel and upbeat atmosphere, helped along by live jazz most nights. You'll find an extensive wine list housing recognisable names from major world regions, including the Rhone Valley and Napa. But it's the cocktails that are the real focus here, with a menu that leans heavily on classics, produced faultlessly; think a Rob Roy with 12-year-old whisky or a Vieux Carré with premium rye. There's a good selection of thoughtful no- and low-alcohol options and a bar food menu too, starring artisan cold cuts, cumin fried squid with sriracha mayo and Sichuan fried chicken with honey yuzu mayo.
