The light and bright feel of this seafood bar in Quito's Gonzales Suarez neighbourhood carries straight through to its food. There's a choice of house ceviches including tuna with coconut milk, avocado, crispy quinoa and borage flowers or salmon with passion fruit and taxo milk, lemon verbena, mango and avocado, yellow sweet potato and nori, alternatively you can create your own custom ceviche with Pez Bela's house tiger's milk as a base. There's also simple shellfish dishes such as oysters served with tiger's milk and lemon plus hot dishes like lobster rolls with garlic mayonnaise and curly fries. Only open for lunch, you can either sit amongst hanging plants in the sunlit dining room or opt for a table out on the terrace while you enjoy a cocktail, a juice or a chilled glass of wine (it's worth noting that sparkling wine is two for one on Friday afternoons).
