Château Beychevelle
Bordeaux, France
Legends abound at Château Beychevelle. Once owned by a great admiral, ships passing on the river were said to have lowered their sails in salute. The order in the local Gascon dialect, 'bêcha vêla', became the estate's name. A visit to Château Beychevelle is to experience three centuries of history. As well as learning of its many legends, visits include a tour of its quintessentially French château and immaculate gardens, as well as the nautically-inspired new winery. Set sail with Château Beychevelle and discover a jewel of the Médoc.
