Chef Yoshiaki Ito brings Japanese sensibilities to his French menu at L’Archeste, his first restaurant, which opened in the 16th in 2016. The dining room is a refined affair of pale wood and leather and contemporary art, complementing his quietly triumphant menu. Colourful radishes are sliced paper-thin over scallop and caviar; turbot comes with clams and slivers of yellow squash; woodland strawberries are served with meringue, lychees and hibiscus.
