It doesn't get more authentically Italian than this. Camparino in Galleria is a bar within one of Milan's most spectacular shopping arcades, right by the Duomo, and the site where Campari was born. Founded in 1915 by Davide Campari, whose father Gaspare created everyone's favourite aperitif back in 1867, the original mosaics and frescoes still make a hell of a statement today. In short, this high-ceilinged haunt is the ultimate spot for a Campari Seltz and a snack to set you up for an evening at La Scala opera house or an exhibition launch at Palazzo Reale.
