Harry's Bar

Venice, Italy

Perched along a canal just off St. Mark’s Square, this legendary bar and restaurant has been channelling the club-like atmosphere of Europe’s historic cafes since 1931. Now owned by the fourth generation of the Cipriani family, it is an understated art-deco cocoon of dark wood and snowy linen where the well-heeled sip bellinis and famously dry martinis. Beef carpaccio drizzled with a zingy, creamy sauce is the signature dish. Other classics include tagliatelle with fresh lobster and warm strawberries marinated in white port.
