De La O Cantina
Take local Guadalajaran flavours and combine them with tiki and you get Guadalatiki, an idea that underpins the food and drink offering at this seemingly-traditional Mexican cantina. Expect, therefore, cocktails such as the Pepita Tequila Mai Tai. The hip crowd in this fun, relaxed drinking den also enjoy concoctions made with tepache, a traditional fermented pineapple drink, as well as pulque, which is fermented sap from the agave plant. A section of the cocktail list is devoted to the bar’s namesake, Mexican revolutionary Genovevo de la O, as well as a selection for “The Landed Gentry” featuring more sophisticated drinks. There’s a concise selection of small plates on offer too.
